Last week Todd and I made the leap to legally rename the farm. For 19 years it’s been all about animals and wellness here, so Epona Farm was most fitting and so special. While I will continue to offer equine assisted therapies, we are ready to enter the next phase of adulting and do what we’ve always wanted to do…grow food, medicinal plants and flowers full time.
With the success of the Raised Roots Blog it only made sense to embrace our love of all things natural and wild, raised bed garden design and vertical farming, and use the name Raised Roots Farm.
I will be here full time running the farm and offering garden design services and coaching and Todd will be helping me with installs and obviously helping with the growing on his off hours.
We will be joining the Vestal Farmers Market as well, so you’ll be able to find us on Wednesday and Saturday from 9-1 each week Memorial Day weekend through Thanksgiving.
Now, we just need spring to arrive…And we’ll be here impatiently waiting until it does!
What does this mean for Epona Botanica’ I’ll be taking that back to its roots and specializing in herbs and plants that safe and beneficial for horses, livestock and companion animals. Eventually I will offer online courses and other educational opportunities.
Thank to our friends and family for your support over the years and your love for this little farm. We are looking forward to sharing these new adventures with you in the days and weeks to come!
